Style and durability is there. I have been listening to Books on tape for over 10 years, have always used a fanny pack to hold my CD player. Would suggest this item to all All of my customers are very impressed when I showed them my new holder. Decided this was a gift to me for Christmas, not only does it have an outside earphone jack but holds 2 extra CD's. I do not have a hard time with the battery compartment, easy to do.
The outside earphone plug makes using the case even handier. We have different types of cd players, and this case fits them all. All you walkers/joggers/book listeners this is a great item to have. I bought two of these cases. One for my mom and one for me.

This product never leaves my side, I wonder how I did without so long.I"m unable to evaluate the sound Quality due to faulty headphones, however the user friendly features are outstanding, even though to increase the volume the construction of my CD player require unzipping. So i leave it halfway open, or set the volume once.
And there is storage inside for a couple of cd's. I'm sure anyone would appreciate the ease of use of this product, and it is comfortable to wear around your waist. I bought this case for my CD Walkman to use when walking or riding my bike. I use it a lot when I'm at the computer and want to block out distractions - so I also bought an AC adapter which is also easy to use with the design of this product. It also has a great little pocket for your cell phone. This is a very convenient item for holding your cd player. One really great feature is the external headphone setup - very smart.
This is not a problem with the player or the case - I should just learn to use an I-POD to download library books on audio. The player and case need to be worn towards the back of the body, not on the side - thus making it necessary to stop to change discs. However, since that takes time and I just want to listen when I walk - this product is exactly what I need. This case is exactly what is needed to use a CD player when walking or working. The only problem is that using a CD player when walking adds bulk around the waist that interferes with arm movement.
